The Shire of Glaedenfeld is a local chapter of the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA), a not-for-profit educational organization dedicated to researching and reenacting life in the Middle Ages and Renaissance. We strive to bring the past to life through the study and practice of skills that were common between the years 600 A.D. and 1600 A.D. If you are interested in anything from sword play to sewing, horseback riding to herbalism, you will find many things to learn and do in the SCA.
Our local group has regular meetings and practices in which to learn, teach and socialize. If you live in or near the Nashville Metropolitan area and are interested in what we do, feel free to join us at any of the scheduled local gatherings or weekend long events that we sponsor.
